in Girdwood, Alaska
July 14-17
Wild, Untouched Landscape, Endless Inspiration, Finding Peace in the Cradle of the Mountains, Creating Beauty with the Earth Itself
Join Emily Jeffords and I for a soul-nourishing nature-based creative retreat in Alaska’s wild landscape. We will be taking inspiration from nature while leisurely exploring coastlines, mountainsides and lush forests. With the main focus of creating with nature, Emily and I will be teaching workshops on Natural Pigment Paint Making, Natural Ink Making, Floral Arranging with Foraged Alaskan materials; as well as, taking you to breathtaking sites for plein air painting. The workshop will be held in a quaint town of Girdwood, Alaska - just 45 minutes out of the main city of Anchorage. From mountain views to the ocean breeze, this is the perfect place to nourish your soul with creativity, experiencing Alaska’s untamed beauty and an ultimate way to connect handmade earth materials to the land itself.
You don't have to be a painter to attend, just a wild heart ready to take in nature's beauty.
